We continue to take a cheeky peek at the Fed and posed the question about who owns that creature from Jekyll Island.

We also take a look at an unfortunate inevitability of both the ancient and the modern state….WAR.  The nature of war is changing as it moves from the real world to the cyber world.  We look at the potential impact on the markets when it does.

Finally we look at a couple of interesting charts that should be ringing alarm bells at Mr. Market’s Club S&P.

Enjoy.

We continue to take a cheeky peek at the Fed and realize why it was really formed in the first place…to save the bankers, of course.

We also take a look at how the proposed sale of a nifty piece of real estate in lower Manhattan (not far from us, in fact) could help push gold higher.

Finally we look at Ms. Bond and why she is starting to become an expensive date for Bartender Ben.

Enjoy.

As it’s the Fed’s 100th birthday this year (December 23, to be precise), we decided to start taking a look at the Fed to see what it is they actually are supposed to do and how well they do it.  Of course, we start this week with a look at the history of this central bank.  Seems like it was not always as popular as it now seems to be…at least with traders and speculators.

We also take a look at silver and why we think it may be poised to move out of the doldrums.

Finally, we show an interest shot that tells us why North Dakota is such a bright spot after dark.

Enjoy.

We look deeper inside Club S&P and start to worry about some danger signs for Bartender Ben and his banker renown band.  We find out that the big PE firms and funds think it’s almost a biblical time…TO SELL.  And why it might be a seasonally good time TO BUY the shiny stuff. Finally, we notice that the much vaunted German GDP is no match for their favorite bank’s appetite for derivatives.

Enjoy.

We look at Club S&P and who’s coming and who’s going.  We find out that when it comes to unemployment, it’s better to be over 55 than under 25.  There are stupid comments from our Secretary of State on stupidity and a nice comparison with JFK.  We take a quick look at gold and update the Aussie dollar slide.

Enjoy.

We continue our discussion on gold, with some interesting charts.  And then, because we can’t help ourselves, we have another dig at Bartender Ben Bernanke.  Such an easy target.  We’ll miss him.  Pity that his policies will result in so many more Americans ending up in the poor house.

Enjoy.

We take a look at what we think may be an epic transition of ownership of one of the world’s great real assets…gold!

Enjoy.

We take a look at why the developed world seems to be moving from bank bailout to bank bail in…and why it may not be good for savers.  We also look at some good news and learn that 3-D printers can make more than just guns.  And there is nifty chart that may be telling us to “look out below”.   Enjoy.

There were dirty rotten scoundrels in DC, twits tweeting in NYC, gold rush in China and some comments from a very wise and wealthy man.  Enjoy!
