We took a peek at interest rates and what might be driving them higher in the future.  And if you’re a Boomer…beware.

We had some fun with Larry and Janet.  And we took a look at Club S&P 1700 and why the sign may come down again soon.

Enjoy.

We continue to take a cheeky peek at the Fed and tried to get a sense of how well they had done at removing the boom and bust cycle from the market.

We also take a look at another war….this time the ongoing and escalating international currency war…where the ultimate goal is to kill yourself.  Crazy, huh.

Finally we looked at America’s increasing crude oil production.  Things are looking good in the black gold department.

Enjoy.

We continue to take a cheeky peek at the Fed and posed the question about who owns that creature from Jekyll Island.

We also take a look at an unfortunate inevitability of both the ancient and the modern state….WAR.  The nature of war is changing as it moves from the real world to the cyber world.  We look at the potential impact on the markets when it does.

Finally we look at a couple of interesting charts that should be ringing alarm bells at Mr. Market’s Club S&P.

Enjoy.

We continue to take a cheeky peek at the Fed and realize why it was really formed in the first place…to save the bankers, of course.

We also take a look at how the proposed sale of a nifty piece of real estate in lower Manhattan (not far from us, in fact) could help push gold higher.

Finally we look at Ms. Bond and why she is starting to become an expensive date for Bartender Ben.

Enjoy.

As it’s the Fed’s 100th birthday this year (December 23, to be precise), we decided to start taking a look at the Fed to see what it is they actually are supposed to do and how well they do it.  Of course, we start this week with a look at the history of this central bank.  Seems like it was not always as popular as it now seems to be…at least with traders and speculators.

We also take a look at silver and why we think it may be poised to move out of the doldrums.

Finally, we show an interest shot that tells us why North Dakota is such a bright spot after dark.

Enjoy.

We look deeper inside Club S&P and start to worry about some danger signs for Bartender Ben and his banker renown band.  We find out that the big PE firms and funds think it’s almost a biblical time…TO SELL.  And why it might be a seasonally good time TO BUY the shiny stuff. Finally, we notice that the much vaunted German GDP is no match for their favorite bank’s appetite for derivatives.

Enjoy.
